Best pizza & wings I’ve had in a long time!! Wings are like smoked or something, SO juicy and tender! And the pizza crust was crunchy and firm, if you’re like me you can’t stand a soggy pizza. Everything was fresh, delicious, and the customer service was excellent. If you’re visiting Durango and looking for good food and a good atmosphere, definitely go here!

Pappy is happy, and so am I. I really wanted some good pizza, but that can be difficult to find when visiting smaller towns. We ordered a hand tossed pepperoni and pineapple pizza (don’t be a pineapple pizza hater). It was really good. The crust was delicious. Perfect amount of toppings and cheese. My husband got some wings too and said they were really good. Cute atmosphere, friendly and fast service, very clean restaurant & restrooms. They even have an outside area with picnic tables and string lights. It definitely deserves more stars than the 4.7 it had when I stopped in.

We were visiting Durango and saw this place so we stopped by. Very friendly staff and willing help and suggestions. Tasty food and great deals. Will definitely stop by again when in area.

The employees were very friendly from the moment we walked in! There was a lovely outdoor seating area where chose to sit since it was a pleasant night. The pizza was yummy!! Fresh ingredients and the greek Salad was wonderful as well!

Great Pizza, flavorful and met expectations! Service was good, super nice and friendly! Outdoor space was nice! Would return but traveling through.

My family (9) had an amazing experience here! We had amazing food and it came out so fast!! The staff was so sweet and very helpful, they did a great job!! We had a small cauliflower crust pizza, 2 large pepperoni and a Chicken Alfredo. Definitely would recommend all of them!

Update: Beer by the oz, doesn't work so well some times. The first attempt was 1554, sputtered 1 tsp. Of foam for 3. Said they would defend that that, next attempt was Coors Banquet, 7 for 2 oz of beer and and 6 oz of foam.. filled it up once the head reduced. It became 12 for one glass of beer. The owner made it right as I cashed out the beer card. __________________________________ 1 YR AGO Drove up from 60 miles away for a Doctor’s appointment. I had my 14 yr old Grand stud with me and we stopped in for lunch, again. He ordered pepperoni. I ordered P, M, ExCh. and of course Green Chile, Perfect amount and perfect flavor! My town has all the chain pizza places. None can hold a candle to Happy Pappys. Staff were friendly and prompt. Sodas were great, I couldn't drink from the adult taps this time (Grand stud with me). Those are good to though.

After reading some negative reviews, I can tell they've listened to their customers and changed their format. The pizza was awesome. Very proportionate. You can see in the picture, they didn't skimp on the toppings. I agree with some others, not the biggest fan of the sweet dough, but the quality of this food is truly on par. The value is incredibly competitive and Mr. Happy came out to clear our table himself and chat with us. The wings are meaty and come with breadsticks. We got the regular buffalo sauce and it was exactly what you'd expect for good wings. The staff was nice and accommodating. The building is nice and clean. The beer wall is unique and fun. Would definitely recommend to try Happy Pappy's.
